I finished my taxes, and on the "You're almost ready to file" page, it showed I owed $0 for Federal E-File, $25 for California E-File, and had a Club Store Credit of $10, showing I owed $15. I pressed continue to pay, and was charged $25 on my credit card. What the heck happened to my credit?
I have tried to contact Intuit 3 times now, and customer service seems non-existent. Your automated system does not seem to understand what I need to do, and then tells me you're closed. Ok, the first time three days ago, I was less than 1 minute past 5 PM PDT, so yea, but really, that close and you do not answer? Today, 6/15/2025, at 2:50 PM PDT, I tried again, TWICE. Each time I was told the office was closed. But it is on a regular work day, there are no holidays I know of on the 15th of June, and it is well before 5 PM.
So I tried requested a partial refund on the account page, and when you submit the form, it says "Thanks for the feedback, every bit helps us improve." but NOTHING about processing a refund or what happens next. I am not even sure that was a request, but rather something that will fall into a black hole suggestion box. I have no idea if I out in a request, or just suggested that they billed me wrong to a feedback channel.
I know it is only $10, but it is MY $10, and I am rather pissed that you charged me the wrong amount, and then give no way to go about getting it corrected. I plan to contest this charge on my credit card on the grounds that you have no way to contact an actual person to correct an issue, and there is no way to request a refund any other way. Maybe this will get your attention, and I do not know how else to make this happen.
But I am once again very unimpressed at Turbotax/Intuit Customer service. Nothing has changed for years, and every year I ask why I continue to do business with Intuit.
I would say Thank You, but at the moment, there is nothing really to thank you for, except maybe that you sold off Quicken to a separate company, which has STELLAR customer service. It is a pleasure to use Quicken again.

Today is SUNDAY. They are closed. Try again tomorrow on Monday.
Call during business hours Monday-Friday--not on a weekend.
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”

Oh darm. You are right. I have been working all weekend and thought today was Monday. My bad. I will try again tomorrow. Sorry. Next time I will check a calendar. SIGH.
It’s also Father’s Day. Don’t forget to call your father or grandfather, etc.
Thank you xmasbaby0. I appreciate the message and my bad for thinking today was Monday. I really need to take more days off! :(
On your suggestion, I did try both searching for "billing" first and then "refund." Only the word refund took me to a page that talked about getting a full or partial refund. If you have a link to the billing page I should have found, I would appreciate your help with that.
And while I know no one here on the forum can directly help with a refund or billing issue, it was the only place I could ask about it hoping that someone here (like you for example) would some suggestions or answers. Much appreciated.
